Overview:  Echinodorus Tenellus (Pygmy Chain Sword) is a perfect foreground plant because of its dense and carpet-like nature. It was popularized by a Japanese aquascaper, Takashi Amano. Echinodorus Tenellus is a naturally growing plant found in wet and moist areas of South America and parts of North America. Because of its ease of care and ability to grow red tips when exposed in intense lighting, it quickly became one of the favorite foreground plants of hobbyists.
