Overview: Hygrophila sp. ‘Araguaia’ is an aquatic plant from South America from Hygrophilia genus. Hygrophila sp. ‘Araguaia’ has a compact and dense leaf structure which is conducive to branch growth. The leaves of Hygrophila sp. ‘Araguaia’ are reddish brown to purple in color – depends on the condition of the water. It is a great plant for larger tanks because of its long leaf characteristics.
