Syngonanthus sp. Belem

Overview:  Syngonanthus sp. ‘Belem’ is a delicate stem plant that was first introduced into the aquascaping world by the Japanese company Rayon Vert. This plant is mostly found on very soft and blackwater rivers near bodies of water in Central and South America. Although Syngonanthus sp. ‘Belem’ is a difficult plant to grow, once it receives basic requirements, it can thrive easily. Some of these requirements are strong light, CO2 supplementation, soft water, with KH readings 4 to 2.
