Overview: Taxiphyllum alternans (Taiwan Moss) is a beautiful moss that is shaped like a Christmas tree when fully grown. Taiwan Moss is an extremely attractive moss to add to any aquarium thanks to its bright green lit colors. It does not need a high amount of light to thrive but will grow much faster and darker when given sufficient amount of light. Unlike other mosses, Taiwan moss is an extremely fast grower and can quickly fill out a medium-sized aquarium.
